I always thought the South Pasadena store was in the location where Bristol Farms is now. The Bristol Farms sign looks like a mdified version of one of the old Market Basket signs. Jan, Alpha Beta in its history had 5 or 6 locations within Covina. The one that closed last year was the latest. The other Covina stores were on Grand and Badillo (Fresh and Easy or Blake Paper) and Grand/Arrow (razed to build the business park) and the 99Cents (ex-Ralphs) on Vincent/San Bernardino...
