Former Shop Rite in Morristown, NJ
I saw an old Daily Record from 1962 that lists 164 Speedwell Ave. in Morristown as a Shop Rite supermarket, does anyone know if the former unemployment office is that location?

Rob, do you have a list of stores before 1963 in that area? Maybe the Amer. Stores location that I saw in the TD Bank photo would be listed there (see prev. post). Also, where did you get the info on when the E. Hanover spot opened? BTW, the TD Bank w/ the photo is on Ridgedale Ave. in Cedar Knolls,...

On the subject of Korvette City, I know from reading old newspaper ads that there was one on RT. 22 in Union, NJ at the Blue Star Shopping Center, it was a large ad showing a Korvette's auto repair facility and several other stores

Just saw a picture on the wall in the Morristown TD Bank of an American Stores supposedly on Rt. 10 in 1940 in Whippany or maybe Morris Plains, NJ. Does anyone know what part of Route 10 that location was?

Was there a different A&P in Randolph on Route 10 near Center Grove Rd. where the current A&P/strip mall is now? Also, on a similar note was there a bowling alley in the Ledgewood area in the early 1960's on Route 10?
