Norwood NJ A+P Centennial to be torn down this fall
The Norwood NJ store in 2008.
The store has been vacant for over a year now. It is in disrepair.
Plans are to knock it down and build a new modern shopping strip.

This is the former A&P in Norwood NJ. It is now a Cost Cutters. As I was taking the picture, a Shop-Rite truck was passing by.

The Tappan NY A&P has been split between two tenants, Tappan Pub and Gordon Carpets.
It still says A&P in the concrete in front of the building.

I remember those A@P1s. I remember that A&P closed the unit in Tappan and doubled the size of the Northvale unit, because people from New York were driving over the state line to Northvale to escape the higher sales tax. Renovations done and in typical A&P luck a brand new spanking Shop Rit...
