Hi, I have a new addition to my soon nto nbe Defunct List; Thruway Market Walden Ny. The owner has decided to sell the Supermarket to Hannaford and continue business in all oyhyer departments. Also, The now gone Valley Market in Orange County NY that after 40 years clo0sed its doors.

HI, The old Acme on Elkton Road closed in 1990. When the replacement store opened also on Elkton Road ( One of the five best in the chain). . The store opened around 1959. Hope it helps. Gerry

Hi, In my Acme travels I have put in some time in the Mantua Acme. I can attest that it was planed as an Acme and has always been and Acme. The color scheme wasn!t like that.
