With the Kroger buyout of Raley's (former Albertson's) in Las Vegas, its not uncommon to see 2 Smith's within a one mile of one another.

In North Las Vegas, there is a shopping center with a Wal-Mart S/C and a VONS with a Rite Aid (even though that's not a grocery store).

White Cross Drugs doesn't seem to be local, we have one in Las Vegas, but now its affiliated with a co-op like United Drugs.

Was the Meadows Mall in Las Vegas built by Dayton-Hudson as with the Loma Vista Shopping Center next door to it? It seems that way because of the assessor records.

I've seen 7-11s here in Vegas that sell movies and CDs, they are mostly in Spanish though. We still have nachos, chili dogs, and gas at our 7-11s.

Why is it that CVS is now accepting the JCPenney Card? Per the Wikipedia article on CVS, they continue to accept the JC Penney card at the stores they bought from Eckerd as a convenience for former Eckerd cutomers. I don't believe that they accept the JC Penney card at all of their locations, but I...

In Las Vegas at Eastern/Searles, there is a Church's Chicken that is now a Multi-Servicios-type place. They bricked up the drive-thru windows. But on the sign they still have chicken specials on it which is really funny and they never repainted the building.

Big Lots at McLeod and Sahara Former Kmart Foods?

At McLeod and Sahara in Las Vegas, there is a Kmart/Big Lots Shopping Center that was built a very long time ago. I dont think there was always a Big Lots next to the Kmart, was it a Kmart Foods or some other grocery store?
