I don't remember that one but I do remember the Mccoys at the Whittier downs mall at norwalk and Washington Blvd in Whittier. also a not very clean place

The site the pic came from says N/A for a date in the picture but judging from the cars in the lot it should be somewhere between 1961-1964

I remember it being a Sears Surplus Store (their outlet store) when I was in high school in the 80s and it seems to me that it closed in the late 80s.

Yes Sometime in the 80's sears closed all their outlet stores some kind of costcutting measure

Here is the only pic I can find of the Market basket at Orr & Day Roard and Telegraph in the city of Santa Fe Springs. Its from the 50's mid 50's I think.

I remember that as you came in the front door there was a liquor guy to the right and the magazines were to the left I think. the Isles were right angle to the doors and I remember this Penut butter machine near produce..
