Sadly, my data ends just as things were starting to get interesting. I hope to do in-person research to complete this sometime in the next few months.

New Orleans is now updated through 1975. More to follow; I'll actually be able to take this one all the way to the present.

HG Hill's stores were bought by Winn-Dixie (1956)

Canel Villere was bought by National somewhere in the late 60s. their original store was at the corner of Canal & Villere, hence the name.

The page mentioned an Albertsons at 3400 Tulane, which was listed in the footnotes as a mistaken address in 2015. There was an Albertsons there and the only Albertsons in New Orleans proper, but blink and you'll miss it, opening in June 2002 and closing in the spring of 2004 when they left the New Orleans area. I've attached a news article for your reference material.

It was part of the Houston Division which announced that it would be pulling out of Houston in the spring of 2002 but still opened a few non-Houston stores in 2002.

Updated in the spreadsheet. Thanks!
