Keystone Market Canton, Pa former A&P

Post by drpep »

This is the Keystone Market in Canton, Pa. All I know is it has not been an A&P since I've been going to Canton in 1995.

This one looks like an older (maybe 1940s) store that was retrofitted with the centennial/colonial look and pretty obviously expanded (to the right) as well. Note the unusual placement of the entrance, like that area used to be the corner of the building. And the doors seem to be inset and angled, as they were in many older A&P stores.

I bet this one is really interesting inside too.

The right side is the deli, frozen foods and soda/snack aisles. It is accessed by an entry along the rear aisle and one more halfway down the divider.
