Ellner & Pike?

Does anyone remember a grocery store named "Ellner & Pike" in either Commack or East Northport, NY, in the mid-60s? I remember my parents shopping there. It was a smaller store, maybe about the size of a current-day ALDI, and the grocery selection was only what moved. I remember the maroon or brown and white sign at the side of the street advertising bricks of frozen vegetables for 9 cents apiece. I think the maroon/brown and white was the company's colors because that was the color of the window ads. What I remember of the store architecture was a store deeper than it was wide, with a front that was almost exclusively windows and doors. I don't remember if the store was part of a strip mall or free-standing, or if there was more than one E&P. Parking was in a small lot out front. Any recall?
