Supermarket picture on Voyager 1 & 2 golden records

I was just looking at the details on the golden records on Voyager 1 and 2 probes. These records have information about Earth with sounds and pictures of life should they be discovered many millions of years hence by extraterrestrials. One of the pictures is of a modern (for the mid 70s) American supermarket and can be found at http://voyager.jpl.nasa.gov/spacecraft/ ... age077.gif I just hope that ET doesn't think that people eat grapes as they shop... (ET from the movie ate potato salad from Boys Market but that's a different story.)
