Portland Metro Westside:

775 S.W. 185th Ave., Aloha (Elle's - Baseline)
2122 N.W. Glisan St.
8805 S.W. Canyon Ln. (West Slope)

Also: of all these locations, besides the Milwaukie store at 2044 S.E. Adams St., how many other Thriftways in the 1979 roster still had the red-on-white lettering instead of the black-on-yellow lettering?

The Jo-Ann Fabric/Crafts at 12312 SW Walker Rd in Beaverton was originally Ernie's Thriftway. I'm reasonably certain it was still in business in 1979. The facade today (Google Street View) looks exactly the same as it did as Ernie's (sans THRIFTWAY signage, of course) after they rebuilt from a fire.

Bales Thriftway in Cedar Mill was previously housed in the complex east of Saltzman on Cornell Rd (the current building is west of Saltzman, probably in the space that became Hi-School Pharmacy, and now Walgreen's). They've been in business since 1961 according to their website, but I'm not sure if they were Thriftway all that time.
