I remember many at Safeway...

Beer: Brown Derby (as mentioned previously)
Wine: Maison Blanc
Spices: Crown Colony
Baked Goods: Mrs. Wright
Soda: Cragmont (with returnable bottles through the 80s)
Bargain: Scotch Buy
Dairy: Lucerne
Frozen: Town House
Frozen meat: Captain's Catch (?)

I saw 1-liter bottles of Cragmont ginger ale and tonic water at the 99 Cent Only Store over the weekend. Of course the label said it was from Lucerne Foods.
Ah, Cragmont cola, lemon-lime, etc. A sure sign at a party that someone was watching their money and skipped brands like Coke and 7-Up.

many independents such as super duper markets & others carried "red&white" but that brand also had a few sub branded items as well.
other labels included "sun spun", "our value brand" ,& "del haven"

Cragmont lives? Image

Was it just old product on the shelves, or do they still manufacture it new?
