I remember many at Safeway...

Beer: Brown Derby (as mentioned previously)
Wine: Maison Blanc
Spices: Crown Colony
Baked Goods: Mrs. Wright
Soda: Cragmont (with returnable bottles through the 80s)
Bargain: Scotch Buy
Dairy: Lucerne
Frozen: Town House
Frozen meat: Captain's Catch (?)

many independents such as super duper markets & others carried "red&white" but that brand also had a few sub branded items as well.
other labels included "sun spun", "our value brand" ,& "del haven"

Was it just old product on the shelves, or do they still manufacture it new?
