The other day, on my way to a paintball game in Ramona, I passed a building off the freeway around El Cajon with a massive, unmistakeable red "T". Anybody know what's there now? I'd go have a look someday, but it's a ways out there...

Is this off the 8 or 67? I'm looking on Live Local for the building.

I honestly can't remember, what I do remember is that it was off the left hand side as we were going north/east towards Ramona.

Sounds like it could be off the 67, maybe in Santee or Lakeside.

Found it on my way to Tucson yesterday! It's off the 125 at Jamacha Road in Spring Valley. It's currently a Veteran's Thrift Store, but the Big Red T is there, in great condition (minus the neon) and has a recent coat of red paint!

So... How many of these signs remain?

This one is the only one I've seen since they took the one down in Montebello that used to be on top of the former Thriftimart turned Safeway.

Wow...thanks!

Surprised it is still up after all these years.

Last two I remember:

City of Industry--Hacienda & Gale--became LUCKY, then Albertsons, now 99 Cent Only Stores
La Puente--Sunset & Francisquito--last I saw it...it was Grocery Warehouse/Max Foods. What is it now? Building at the far end was Ole's Hardware.
