Early 90s-build Kmarts with auto centers?

I just realized today that of all the Kmarts I have visited that were built in the early 90s, I have not seen one of this style that had an auto center, whether integrated into the store or in a freestanding building. Are there any Kmarts of this era which were built with auto centers?

I know of one right near me that was in Amsterdam, NY that opened in September or October '94. It was a Super K which was built as a replacement store for a smaller one right up the road located in a former Grants. It was integrated right into the side of the building and was much larger than the one in the store it replaced which only had two bays. This one had maybe 10 bays or more with a waiting area. The store closed right after Christmas in 2000 and sat vacant never to be occupied again. The building was demolished to make way for a Target which opened last fall. Ironically the old store is still standing and is now home to a movie theater and a Big Lots.

The Carson City, NV Super Kmart (closed 2002 and vacant) opened in around 1994 with an auto center. The Auto Center was behind the Garden Department.

Of the many Kmarts that are near me, the only one that I know that had/has an auto center are:
  • 197 West Street Road, Feasterville, Pa (1970's Kmart)
  • 1776 Lincoln Highway, Langhorne-Levittown-Middletown, Pa (1970's Kmart)
  • 1837 Street Road, Bensalem (former J. M. Fields/Food Fair-Pantry Pride combo store)

The Super Kmart in Greeley, Colorado (which became subdivided into the call center I work in and a thrift store) opened October 17, 1994 with an auto center. It replaced an older Kmart on the other side of Greeley, which was built in 1969 with an auto center.

It really wasn't unusual for this era of Kmarts to have the Auto Centers:
All of the Super Kmart Center stores I saw had them, and all of them were built in the early to mid 90's.

Some, but not all of the 90's stores had them. Where Walmart builds them in all but the smallest locations, Kmart was much more selective in the 90's. I even know of one 70's store in Longview, TX, that was expanded in the 90's, and it's Auto Center was moved to the addition and built in the 90's style. The store is still open, but they use the auto center as storage.

I know the K-Mart in Dubuque had an auto center at one time. I believe now that is used for storage as well. The website doesn't have auto center listed with that store now.
