I think your link is broken. I would be interested in seeing it.

I just checked and the link does appear to be working properly. Although the page doesn't have any images for examples.

As for other Circle K's when they left the Houston area, most stores became "Stop-N-Go's" owned by Diamond Shamrock which was eventually bought by Valero who dissolved the brand and kind of let the C-Stores go to crap...

The few Circle K's that weren't converted to Stop-N-Go branched off and became "Super K", "K Stop", "K Gas" etc... Oddly enough even though only a minority of the stores adopted these off brand names new independent stores often take on the K naming scheme. This is usually due to the owners naming their converted Circle K store something like K-Stop #1 then acquiring a new store that was never a circle K and name it K-Stop #2. Even some newly built C-Stores will use a K style name which is quite odd taking into account that Houston hasn't had Circle K for nearly 30 years!

That's really nice! I like those pictures. You should consider posting them some place other than Facebook, possibly Flickr! I run a subreddit called http://www.reddit.com/r/RetailPorn If you want you're more than welcome to post them there!

Also you might get a kick out of this former Circle K.

Here it is on StreetView. This location has always been interesting to me because it had double entrances. If you go forward you can see the second entrance, which was abandoned when that bridge was built, to replace a railroad crossing.

I tried your streetview link and it did not work but the previous link does work now. I am always looking for photos of Circle K buildings across the U.S. and would definitely like to see it.

That's weird.. I checked the Streetview link and it had turned into a satellite picture of the ocean for some reason lol.

Try this Streetview link:
