I'm sorry if this has been discussed already.
I was in San Francisco recently and came across "Cala Foods". I walked in thinking it was some independent market, but it appears to be owned by Ralphs, because they were selling Ralphs brand items and had Ralphs-style signage. Does anyone know about this store? Even the Ralphs/Kroger website doesn't mention it, so I'm wondering if it's some franchise operation or something.

Re: Cala Foods
Cala Foods is part of Food4Less Division of Kroger and is currently an asset held for disposal (discontinued operation). These were part of Ralphs division prior to 2007.
The store is slated to close sometime next year.
The only internet presence they have is http://calabell.inserts2online.com where an ad continues to post every Wednesday.
