New web pages: The Artifacts of Supermarkets Past

Post by Andrew T. »

I've taken a lot of supermarket pictures over the years, and this month I decided to create some static, low-tech, made-from-scratch gallery pages to lend some sense of order and chronology to them. They may be of interest:

The Artifacts of A&P
The Artifacts of Safeway

More chains will be forthcoming. If anyone has suggestions or corrections, please feel free to share.

Some new sections have been finished, along with a handy-dandy portal connecting them all:

The Artifacts of National and Loblaws
The Artifacts of Kroger

The Kroger section is the longest, as well as the most meticulously-researched. Blame it on having lived in Kroger territory for several decades, as well as having access to newspaper archives!
