Likewise, Pathmark and Waldbaums in Centereach, NY. In fact, there's probably many more of these examples now that A&P owns Pathmark.

Although surprisingly, due to the merger, they only had to divest six stores, all of which were in NY. One of those stores in Shirley, NY divested was a recently renovated Waldbaum's Fresh Market. It became Stop & Shop (which they've renovated *twice* in less than two years). The rest were in Staten Island and became King Kullens.
