Here is a photograph of a 7-Eleven in Palm Springs, CA. The architecture, which features the 7-Eleven logo seen before the left entrance (rather than it being centered on the roof) looks rather unusual for a 1970s store:

Were there any other early/mid '70s 7-Elevens, in CA or especially in the Portland-Vancouver area, that resembled this one?

I REALLY REALLY want to say the old 7-Eleven at 3230 SW 87th Ave in Portland (just south of Canyon) had the logo on the right side brick facade. (If you street view it, it's the "Dog Gone Clean" building).
I believe this was pretty normal in 7-Eleven's design at one time.
This was my childhood 7-Eleven back in the early 70's.

I suppose 7-11 replaced this store with the one at 9145 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy in the early 1980s if I am not mistaken.tesg wrote:I REALLY REALLY want to say the old 7-Eleven at 3230 SW 87th Ave in Portland (just south of Canyon) had the logo on the right side brick facade.
