Former Safeway Building In Stockton Torn Down!

A former Safeway in Stockton, located at 6632 Pacific Ave is being torn down. It opened in 1958, expanded (to add a Bakery) & remodeled in the early 1970's and closed in 1986. Later that year, It became a Liquor Barn. After they closed in 1992, Michael's Arts & Crafts opened up and remained there until they moved in 2007. The building remained vacant since then and in recent times, became an eyesore.
