Red Barn
Does anybody remember the Red Barn restaurant chain? I wonder how many of the original buildings still exist? Here is one that is still being used as an Arby's: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=42.5 ... 9230769231 I am aware of another one that was recently torn down in Dayton, OH which was being used as a carpet store.

Re: Red Barn
There are a couple of old TV commercials for the chain on Youtube:

I think I've seen mention of a couple of former locations still standing (with different tenants, obviously) in Minneapolis, but since that's well outside my area of familiarity someone else would have to verify that.
Edit: This link shows one:

Re: Red Barn
Thanks! I had no idea that there was a website dedicated to the old chain.
Re: Red Barn
I do know of one location that is still essentially the original restaurant structure with only minor revisions. They've even got the original signage out front (with a new name though) Its in Racine, WI on Highway 11 / Durand Avenue and its called "The Farm" Most of the menu is pretty much the same as the Red Barn except they changed some names like the barnbuster to the farmbuster, etc.
