Centro-Mart First Location Photo
Here is a picture of the first Centro-Mart as well as Louie's Market and Mandarin Market in the 100 block of South Center Street in Downtown Stockton from 1964 before it was demolished which I got from my friend, Ron Chapman.

From left to right, Louie's Market, Mandarin Market while Centro-Mart is second from the last building to the right.

VERY nice photos, thanks for sharing. Groceteria has a black and white close-up of this store on his flickr photostream. Even though the neon sign read CentrOMart, the sign on the window read Daylite Market. I think the CentrOMart's in downtown Brentwood and Oakley originally went under Daylite Market too. Do you know which name came first, or did they co-exist?

Daylite market was first, Here is a Photo i got out of I think was the 1955 Liberty High, Brentwood ca Yearbook of the Store in Oakley, Ca.
